  • DO YOU AGREE? It Is Unconscionable To Reopen Lekki TollGate When Justice Haven’t Been Served

  • On the night of 20 October 2020, at about 6:50 p.m, members of the Nigerian Army opened fire on peaceful End SARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Amnesty International stated that at least 12 protesters were killed during the shooting, however it is said the number is definitely higher.

On Saturday 6 February 2021, the Judicial Panel of Inquiry set up by the Lagos State government to investigate the October 2020 Lekki shooting incident approved the reopening of the Lekki Tollgate when justice is yet to be served. WHY!

    😡

    MY THOUGHTS:

That’s a crazy decision, not cool at all! Does it mean these people don’t care about us but their personal selfish interests only?

Well, the good news is, some Nigerians are planning to embark on another protest at the tollgate, stating that the tollgate should remain shut until justice is served to the victims of the Lekki shooting. I support that, you should.

C’mon guys, it is an insult to the family and memory of the innocent citizens massacred at the Lekki Toll gate by the Nigeria Army. Business cannot resume when justice has not been assumed.

It Is Unconscionable To Reopen Lekki TollGate When Justice Haven’t Been Served -DO YOU AGREE?

What’s your take on this matter?
